Last fall was a blur.

In the midst of the busiest time of year for our family (September - Christmas), I changed jobs. Not really just changed jobs...like I was just learning a new job. Our company re-organized my department. So I was learning my new job, teaching people their new jobs, and working with the company to work out all of the kinks in between. Work. Work. Work.

Somehow, my fabulous family still managed to have a super fun fall. It always starts with Labor Day weekend, which includes back-to-school, Ezra J's birthday, and Creek Fever. We then move into our new school schedule & fall sports. We decided to skip fall sports this year...well, most of us did. So Addison ended up back in soccer. We had 3-Day fundraisers, Addison's 11th birthday, Wine Tasting, Halloween. The SGK 3-Day Walk, working at Walker West, Thanksgiving. Eric's birthday party, Christmas parties, more Christmas parties, and lots of holiday fun with friends & family.
Now its January, and I'm about to enjoy my first Saturday in months with nothing to do. (Except the reinvention of the Sister Breakfast). It's maddening that I have no plans. What have I been putting off for 5 months that I can get around to??
Eric's new Smoker
Creek Fever
Megan's baby shower
Red Dirt Roads concert with the Powers
Ray Wylie Hubbard concert at Levitt Pavilion, with the Powers
Shana & Randall's Wedding
Wine Tasting in the Hill Country
Annual Pumpkin Carving
Alice & the Mad Scientist
Super Stepmom & her sidekick
Thanksgiving at the Ranch
Addi's 5th Grade Program

It is so good to see you back on board your blog. I have missed you. Love seeing your fall in a photo stream. I want to go to your ranch!
