New Vines
Eric purchased 20 cabernet vines from Georgia about two weeks ago. They are 3 year old vines & are supposed to produce grapes this season. We'll keep our fingers crossed!

Let the Training Begin
April marks the beginning of my official training schedule for El Scorcho & the 3 Day. Although I'm already able to handle most of my April schedule, my limited past experience has taught me not to overdue it to prevent running burnout.
My training schedule will consist of 4 days running with long runs on the weekend, through July. Then I will switch to walking four days a week, including 1-2 long walks on the weekend. Some of the latter months leading up to November look a bit challenging. September will include weekend walks, back-to-back: 12/9, 14/10, 15/11, 17/13. The thing that most concerns me today is my gear. I'm definitely going to have to get a new pair of shoes, at minimum.
Here's my total mileages, 758 miles:
April 51
May 61
June 82
July 103
August 96
September 146
October 146
November 73
So far, so good!

Easter Weekend
Egg Hunt, rush home to Driving Range, head out to Farewell dinner with Mimi & Enno, come home to dye some late-night Easter eggs. Egg Hunt, rush to church, play tennis for a few, rush back home. And in the mix- spend some good times with friends & neighbors!

(By the way, I skipped all of the cute dress up pics this year).
