Barton Creek

E and I took a two day trip to Austin last weekend. Week drove the back way down 281 and had a nice drive to & from. We discovered an awesome Mexican restaurant, The Maxican, (it's spelled with an 'A') in Burnet Tx. While we were there we had breakfast at the Iguana on Lake Travis, visited Lance Armstrong's new bike shop Mellow Johnny's , played some golf, and relaxed by the pool.

Deer were all over the rough while we played.


And we both played awful on this beautiful course.

The kids are here now for 3 weeks. We have many things planned =0)

You guys are so cool to take these trips together. Did I tell you that I recently went to the range with my three golfers and I actually hit a few and received some instruction. Maybe one of these days I'll be ready to "give it a go" with golf lessons or on a course!
