What a crazy week! My A/C broke in my car so we were shuffling cars around on Thursday & Friday. I drove 1.5 hours on Friday to pick up E & head to P-Diddy's Friday night game. We all loaded back up and were back home by 9 pm for dinner.
Saturday was a big day - and we had Mimi to help us get through it all - started with the car pickup (A/C now fixed - thank God), visit by Mimi and all of her fabulous Holland gifts, and lunch. After loading up the car, we made a trip to pick up E at work and head to P-Diddy's final t-ball game in Midlothian. These 10 weeks have gone by so fast. We had a 1 hour break after the game to head back to Mansfield for a quick dip in the pool at the Club. Then we all loaded back up, and headed to the trophy ceremony in Midlothian. We made it back home by 6 pm for a little dinner with Mimi. A few meltdowns along the way, but nothing to be unexpected.
We decided to give our Sunday Ranger tickets away for the 2:05 pm game; our seats have direct beam sun. So we stayed at home and enjoyed a day in our pool. Unfortunately, our day ended with a trip in the ambulance to the hospital. Which fortunately turned out to be nothing disastrous. To make a long story short, 'A' was trying to enter the pool on our inflated slide. Her plan was to make an initial bounce, land on her toosh (on the slide), and then bounce into the pool from there. However, she underestimated her size/weight and the toosh-landing actually led to impact with the ground, sending an awful feeling up her spine & knocked the wind out of her. Just to be sure, the x-rays were taken and no injury sustained. Thank goodness!
My June class has begun. It's going to be a fast one and a tough one - Managerial Accounting a.k.a. Cost Accounting. We have a test every Monday, which means I am a ball of stress each weekend. BUT I am really looking forward to July & August with no school! And hopefully a vacation!

Oh my! What a weekend. I have to say after weekends like this that if you have to do marathon weekends like this,you might as well do them with the ones you love. I'm sorry for the scare with A. YIKES! And summer school...you are clever to get this class over with in the short time frame. I'm so happy to not be in a class right now. Just to think about other things besides what assignmetn is due or what should I be reading. It'll come soon enough though!
So glad to hear A is okay! Lots of AC's going out this week. D & L's went out when they were out of town. They walked in to find a very upset G-Ma. Oh, I mean Maw-mah. That was yesterday, Tuesday, and their AC company couldn't get them on the schedule until Friday!
