The weekend before last, E & I finally had the opportunity to try out our new tent & sleeping bags in Glen Rose. We had such a great time hanging out by the fire all night.
The next day we spent over 4 hours wrestling with a chipper. It was a beast of a machine & it was finally placed on the ground. And then we found it had lost a part on the trip down. A whole day wasted. But we had fun camping!
On Monday I felt a mosquito bite on my neck. Tuesday it got bigger. Wednesday I found one on my arm. Turns out, it's not a mosquito bite. It's Poison Oak! My sweet husband offered to put benadryl on my mosquito bite (with his hands!). And now, over a week later, we are both covered in it. We've been trying the baking soda paste solution. And it's dried it out some. But we're still battling it.

OH MY GOD! - you two are crazy (the good kind of crazy). sorry about the poison oak - hate that stuff - used to get poison ivy while working at blanchies house in connecticut. I would take steriods for it - mostly because it reached places that frightened me. Keep up the good work and fun out at the site!
Hope you're better this weekend. I look at the photo of E and it reminds me of Kevin Kostner dancing around the campfire in Dances with Wolves.
What an adventure you guys are having!
