Working on the AC

Where else should we be on the hottest day of the year, but outside in the heat working on the AC? It's a must-have now that summer has arrived. And it was blazing hot! I can't say I did much to help, but Eric made big progress this weekend.

When we finished for the day, we took Lucky down to Dinosaur Valley State Park for a swim in the Paluxy River. The water levels are pretty low right now so we could see more Dino tracks than usual.

Our Staycation

I'm really tired of hearing that term, but nevertheless, the kids were here for a week & it seems like we had a staycation. We had the Daddy Daughter dance, bowling, putt putt, a movie (Up), NRH2O water park, a sleepover, a visit by the toothfairy, and my favorite.... the Bureau of Engraving & Printing. We weren't on vacation, but sometimes it is just as nice to take advantage of the local offerings.
Addison was also given a small budget to redecorate her room. She has put alot of thought into her selections. It's still a work in progress, but we love the color she picked for the walls!

Daddy Daughter Dance

Father's Day weekend always starts out with Daddy Daughter dance at the club. They had a great time cutting a rug all night. Meanwhile, P & I had a date at the bowling alley, McDonald's, and some Fondue dessert.
