I've been doing well to stay on course training for El Scorcho. I got up to 5 miles last weekend. But I haven't run since! So my 4 miles today was personal punishment for my lapse. Hopefully I'll be able to get another 5 in tomorrow and be back on track.

AFI Film Festival

We went to Dallas last night to see a series of 'shorts' at the AFI Film Festival. There were a series of 7 short films, a total of 1 1/2 hours long. It was fun to see and they were all very different.

The friend we were with is related to the Director of 'Boy Next Door'. I'm glad to have been able to go, as I am unfamiliar with Dallas and therefore often miss out on these events.

It's that time of year for Eliot's haircut. He puts up a good fight, but we know deep down inside he really appreciates it!

You may think he's a pretty big cat.









But he is not:

He came in 2 pounds overweight. I'm okay with that. He still gets his treat. Strawberry is his favorite flavor.

In other news, Preston has his 'Opening Season' parade tomorrow. We'll keep our fingers crossed that it doesn't get rained out. Yea for Baseball Season!
