Bathroom

Eric laid the tile last week, which allowed for water to be hooked up to the toilet, sink, & tub. We're still waiting on the shower head. The walls are all painted so we are ready to find a mirror & vanity light. I also had my first grouting experience - learning experience!

Master Bedroom

Once the carpet was installed, we were ready to move in & actually sleep very comfortably for the whole weekend. WHAT a big difference having a real bed to sleep on and a real sink/toilet/bath to use!

Can you see our HUGE smiles?

Guest Bedroom

Carpet was installed on Friday. We then finished painting the walls - a pale yellow on the regular walls & the metal wall has 'dry erase' paint on it. This room is just about done!

Yes Virginia- there is a toilet!

And it works!

I made it through the week - 2 tests & a paper due. Eric & I are going to spend a few days trying to knock out some serious progress on the house. Plumbing is hooked up for the most part. While we could take a shower, it won't be hot. The carpet is being installed Friday in bedrooms which will allow for furniture in that room. And the wood flooring will will also be delivered Friday for install.
Which will allow for appliances.

Eric did an awesome job tiling the bathroom floor this week. I'll post some pics next week.

1/2 Marathon Update

The Cowtown went well last weekend. I made my goal of 2 hours, at 1:56:37. It was so windy around the downtown area. My super husband was there to support me the whole way through on his bike as well as Cowtown Camera Girl with Flat Stanley in tow.

I'm glad that the race is over and the time change is around the corner. I'm going to try to get back on my bicycle for a while. Change it up a little.

My first round of tests begin this week at school & then there is spring break! I've actually scheduled a few vacation days to spend with Eric in Glen Rose. We hope to knock out a few things.

1) Finish painting
2) Have Plumber & Electrician back out to finish all of the 'hook up's', shower, toilet, fans, etc.
3) Have carpet installed in bedrooms & Eric will work on wood flooring in rest of house.

If we can get these things done, we can move in furniture! By the way, we love this furniture store in Dallas. Amazing finds!
